“You have been assigned this mountain to show others it can be moved.”
Learning to become an adult is hard. As a perfectionist who is mostly lazy and an organizer who always has a messy room, I started this blog to share the tools I’ve created and discovered to ‘adult like a pro’. My goal is to give independent women (20 somethings and up) with tools to build a life that makes them feel successful and empowered.
Life is a journey, and I am nowhere near qualified enough to show you how to live it, but I would love to give you guidance, faith, and maybe even a few laughs. I want to learn, grow, succeed, and be empowered just like you. I have absolutely no idea what i am doing at least 45 % of the time. But the things I have figured out, I want to share.
Everyone learns differently and that was the first thing I noticed while starting my travels through hundreds of life style blogs on the internet. I would find budget printables that would almost fit my debt & savings needs or a cleaning schedule that worked, but included Sunday cleanings involving your kids’ rooms. Although I want to have that someday, right now it doesn’t apply. Slowly but surely, I started designing and utilizing printables tweaked to fit my needs and goals. Even better, when I started utilizing them, I found that they actually worked! That being said, I completely understand that I may produce work or ideas that don’t completely fit your life, but if I can give you one small tweak or slice of inspiration, I have accomplished my goal.
I hope to have this blog grow with me through the next stages of my life and I would love more than anything to have you here to help me do that.
This is my rabbit. His name is Leroy. He has an obsession with oatmeal and living with him is definitely never dull.
