Kicking off day 3 of the ‘Essential Guide to Organizing Your Life’ is about organizing a lot of your most common information. Passwords, Doctor, Insurance, and Auto. Three things I really wish I knew more about for adulting purposes. By keeping this information handy and together, it is a lot easier to grab (or someone else grab) in emergency situations. Need your babysitter to call the doctor in case of emergency? Use the Doctor info printable to fill in the vital details. Going to get maintenance done on your car and don’t know the last time you had the oil changed? The Auto info printable has all the details you need without having to go take a picture of your license or VIN number.
So, here are the ways I have my personal life binder divided (as a review);
- Current Budget (Day 1)
- Personal Information (Today)
- Banking Info
- Auto Information
- Credit Card Information
- Investment Information
- Insurance Information
- Extra Budget Templates
- Extra Savings & Debt Templates
- Extra Meal Planning Templates
All three of these types of paperwork usually involve a lot of paper. Insurances change, rates go up, changes or additions in the doctors you see. To further help you organize your life, I’ve created 3 different printables to be added to your life binder!
Personally, I put the Doctor, Auto, and Insurance info all under the personal information tab in my life binder.. Easy to find, flip through, and then use the insurance information tab itself to hold account information, statements, changes in policy, old cards, etc.
